Overview
Your password must be changed once every 365 days. You will start getting reminder notifications two weeks before it expires.
There are two ways to change your Latin password, the first being the easiest:
- NoMAD
A small app that lives on the menu bar of your work computer. This is the preferred method since it updates not only your core Latin accounts (Google login, LatinAuth login, etc.) but also your computer's user login password. Note that NoMAD only works while connected to Latin's network on campus. - password.latinschool.org
Latin's website for changing only the password for your Latin accounts from any browser.
This article will guide you through changing your password using Nomad.

There are certain requirements and restrictions when choosing a new password:

NoMAD (On Campus only)
On the top right of your computer's menu bar, you should see a triangle symbol. This is NoMAD.
NoMAD (short for 'No More AD') is a very small app that links up with Latin's on-campus Active Directory (or 'AD') server and is primarily used for one major purpose: Changing both your Latin password and your computer's login password at the same time. Because it has to be linked to the on-campus AD server to work, you must be on Latin's network to use it.
Signing In:
- You only need to sign in to the app with your Latin account once, and it should remain signed in from then on. Most employees get signed in during their initial computer handoff, but if you ever need to do it again, just click the icon, select 'Sign In', and enter your Latin username & password.
Changing Your Password:
- When your NoMAD sign-in is active, you'll see an item called 'Change Latin Password'.
- Click this, then enter your old password first, followed by the new password, then the new password again.
- If your password is not accepted, make sure it meets the criteria outlined in the Password Requirements section of this page and try again.
